It started at 12 years old with two broken computers and a stubborn refusal to accept that neither one worked.
By salvaging parts from both, Alex built her first functioning machine from scratch — and that was it. The obsession with computers, hardware, and the craft of building never left. Over the years that tinkering evolved from necessity into passion, from passion into design, and eventually into Particle Studios.
The idea for the FS-Series came the way the best ideas usually do — out of frustration. After hours of cable management on a build, adjusting every run, chasing a cleaner look without swapping hardware, Alex looked at the exposed fans and saw the one thing left unresolved. There was no product that housed them properly. Nothing that elevated that part of the build without compromising airflow or requiring a full hardware overhaul. So he designed one.
HOW WE MAKE IT
Every shroud starts as a CAD file and ends as a hand-finished piece with its own character. Here is what happens in between.
Each unit is 3D printed, then moves into a multi-stage processing phase: hand-sanding, priming, and surface polishing to achieve a finish that raw prints simply cannot. From there it goes to paint and a full curing cycle before it ever gets inspected for shipping.
Start to finish, a single order takes between 6 and 9 days depending on configuration, sometimes a day or two more for complex orders. That is not a delay. That is the process.
Because every shroud is hand-processed, no two are identical. Surface character, slight variation in texture, minor marks from the finishing process — these are not flaws. They are evidence of how the product was made. If you want something that looks like it came off a factory line, this is not it. If you want something built with hands, intention, and care — you are in the right place.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Great design does not announce itself. It earns its place.
The GT-R is not fast because it looks aggressive — it looks aggressive because every surface was shaped around what it needs to do. Fallingwater does not sit over the waterfall for drama — it sits there because that is where it belongs. The best pasta you have ever eaten was not complicated. It was considered.
That same principle guides everything we make at Particle Studios. A shroud should not compete with your build. It should complete it. Form follows function, and when both are done right, you stop noticing either one separately.
